London University Royal Navy Unit – Sproglets Rum

£25.00

Product Information

Dark Rum (70cl) 37.5% ABV

Traditions: Rum Rations were a standard practice from the 1600’s, but in 1740 it became a formal daily event where each enlisted man received a tot of rum. This was a reward for their hard service at sea, a morale boost and seen as a medicine by some. Although this practice was ended on Black Tot Day (July 31st, 1970) the Royal Navy maintains it strong rum connection and this is a drink to savour with your shipmates.

This is full-bodied and rich and tastes great on its own or in long drinks with cola or fruit juice.
